    • Level-Based: Aligned with the Berlitz levels. Successful completion of the course will move you up a Berlitz level.
    • Skill-Based: Not aligned with the Berlitz levels. Course content will be geared towards specific skills or topics you need to cover, rather than a natural progression towards fluency.
  • Course Overview
    • Level-Based: 40 total lessons (45-minute lessons) over 3 months
    • Skill-Based: 20 total lessons (45-minute lessons) over 2 months
  • Technical requirements
    • Lessons are delivered via Newrow. Our live online classrooms are browser-based, meaning you do not need to download an application. You can access the lessons from a browser on your phone or computer.
    • We recommend ensuring you have a fast internet connection and using headphones during lessons.

The Berlitz Student Portal makes learning easier

When you learn with Berlitz, you have easy access to your course schedule. You can see upcoming lessons, schedule future lessons and start your lessons all from the same place. Your focus should be on the actual lessons and that is what the Berlitz Student Portal lets you do.

How learning with Berlitz works

1. Classes are held via real-time video calls with your instructor. You’ll log in to your live online classes via your MyBerlitz portal with the click of a button.

2. Your friendly Berlitz instructor will welcome you, establish the goals for the lesson, and start your learning.

3. All live online classes use our proven Berlitz Method. This means your instructor will deliver your classes in your target language and have you using your new skills right away.

4. Every lesson includes interactive tasks that allow you to actively use your new language through role-plays, discussions, and debates.
