Learning a new language can be daunting, but only if you let it be. With the support, face-to-face interaction, and teaching style that Berlitz offers, studying a foreign language can be easy.
You’ll learn at your own pace, in your own time, wherever you are most comfortable.
While learning with a free app may seem like the easiest option to increase your language skills, it won’t offer the same results or level of support that you get with Berlitz.
When you enroll with us, we go through an evaluation process that ensures your program is customized to your goals and learning style. Our process ensures you stay on track, are making progress, and offer support at every stage if you need it.
Here’s how learning a language with Berlitz works:
1. We get to know your needs
We’ll ask about your situation, your specific goals, your motivations, your skill level, and what you want to achieve out of your language and culture program. This will give us a chance to learn more about you and get to know you.
2. Custom program options provided
When we understand your goals, we’ll provide you with the course options that would suit you best and how they can help you achieve your language and cultural understanding goals.
These don’t have to be set in stone, as you may start your course and realize certain areas need to be changed.
3. Orientation
We’ll explain how it all works and help you get started. You’ll meet your language instructors, get to know your way around the learning center, receive your program materials, and learn about our platforms and systems. If you have chosen an online course, the same occurs, but online!
4. Reviewing your progress and checking in
We’ll check you’re on the right path to achieving your learning goals, successfully retaining what you learn, and giving you any extra learning support you need to embrace your new language and culture.
5. Testing your achievements
We’ll measure your understanding and skills so you can see how much you’ve progressed before moving to the next level. If you need more support on this, we're here to help.
6. Certifying your achievements
You’ll receive a certificate to celebrate your accomplishments!
7. Progressing to the next level
We’ll check if you’re happy with your achievements and advance you to the next language proficiency level. At this stage, if there are any tweaks or changes you would like to make on the teaching style or schedule for the next component, we can easily accommodate this.
