We offer three French for kids programs, based around the age of participants, and tailored to their developmental stages with age-appropriate lessons, activities and materials.

Research has found that children who learn a second language may be more creative, better at problem-solving, faster learners, and find it easier to connect with different cultures.
Children also find it much easier than adults to learn a second (or third) language because the language center of their brain is still in development.

In-person French classes
Perfect for social kids and teens, our in-person courses are suitable for children four years and older. Taught by Berlitz-certified native-level language instructors, the courses feature fun, stimulating age-appropriate content, topics, and activities.
These private in-person French classes are held at our Berlitz language centers.

Explore – French courses for kids aged 8 to 11 years
Explore is available online and in-person. Through the course, your child will explore the French culture and language with fun and stimulating content and conversation.
Achieve – French courses for teens aged 12 – 15 years
Achieve is available online and in-person and will ground your teen with useful, real-world language skills and a better understanding of the nuances of French culture.
Lead – French courses for teens aged 16+
Lead is available online and in-person. The program will develop your teenagers’ leadership skills and cultural awareness through the French language and in-depth cultural understanding.
