Our groups allows children to regularly connect with the foreign language and deepen their knowledge step by step while having fun.
Lessons are geared toward the age of the participants. The youngest are taught using age-appropriate exercises such as singing, drawing, and dancing. Older children learn to enjoy the foreign language through exciting stories and entertaining role-playing activities.
We welcome applicants aged 7 to 17 to our groups, which are available from beginner level up to C1 proficiency.

On September 11, we are hosting an Open Day where participants can experience a real group lesson and discover what it is like to learn a language at Berlitz. They can get to know our conversation-focused method, meet our instructors, and experience the atmosphere of our small-group classes – while parents will also have the opportunity to ask their questions in person. Participation is free of charge, but advance registration is required.

- By car: We recommend parking at the car park on Zichy Jenő Street or using on-street parking in the surrounding area.
- By public transport: The Arany János utca stop on Metro Line 3 (blue line) is directly opposite our Language Center. Deák Ferenc tér and Nyugati tér are also just a few minutes’ walk away. Bus 9 stops directly in front of our school, while the nearest stops for trolleybuses 72 and 74 are also within walking distance.

Closed groups are created for an existing group of learners, such as classmates, friends or relatives. This flexible format allows children to learn according to their own schedule and focus on topics that are relevant to them. Lessons can take place online or at our Váci Street Language Center.
Closed groups can start at any time throughout the year.

These groups follow the school-year schedule and are designed to help children develop confident language skills through regular practice in a stress-free environment. At our Bajcsy-Zsilinszky street Language Center, your child can learn in a calm and supportive environment that allows them to focus fully on their studies.
When forming the groups, we take both the child’s age and current language level into account.

A language class or unit consists of 40 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes of break.The students take a minimum of 90 minutes (2 units) at a time, with breaks as needed.
If your child cannot attend a class, unfortunately, the missed class will be considered as having been used up. If your child misses several consecutive sessions, arrangements for makeup sessions will be discussed on an individual basis for each case.
Learning in a closed group means that the group has been created at the specific request of people (such as classmates, friends, and family members) who wish to learn together.
From age 7 children use the book titled Look together with its accompanying workbook. The material, developed in cooperation with the National Geographic, uses bright images, interesting videos, and exciting topics to engage the children as they are introduced to the world of the new language.
Teenagers learn from Time Zones and its accompanying workbook, which contain materials also developed in cooperation with the National Geographic, using interesting cultural, historical, and scientific topics to encourage student to participate in engaging conversations in the target language.
You can pay for the course prior to or at the time of enrollment in one of the following ways:

The online classes take place in the instructors’ closed Zoom rooms. Before the first class, every member of the group receives an e-mail containing the link necessary for joining the Zoom meeting. Of course, the online courses also adhere to the Berlitz method.
