How Business Fest Became One of Hungary's Leading Business Events

Over the years Business Fest has outgrown itself and became one of the most inspiring corporate and business events nationwide. What makes it unique is that it has never aimed to be a traditional conference. From the very beginning, the organizers envisioned an informal yet highly professional environment where experts from different industries could connect freely, exchange ideas, and build new partnerships. Year over year the festival hosted thousands of participants and hundreds of exhibitors which lead to an eventual change in location from Millenáris Park to Lágymányosi Campus of ELTE University.

Behind the scenes: Preparing for Business Fest

The weeks leading up to the event were filled with intensive preparation across the Berlitz team. Designing creative materials, developing presentation content, organizing our prize draw, and building our exhibition stand all served one purpose: helping visitors quickly understand how Berlitz can support both individual learners and entire organizations in achieving their language learning goals.

We also made sure our colleagues arrived fully prepared with the latest information and insights. After all, one of the greatest strengths of Business Fest lies in the quality of its personal conversations.

The corporate language training landscape is evolving rapidly. AI-powered learning solutions, flexible training formats, and measurable learning outcomes are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, many organizations continue to seek more traditional solutions, such as on-site group language training.

Our role is not to promote one approach over another, but to recommend the solution that best fits each client's needs - whether that's an innovative AI-supported learning programme or a more traditional classroom experience.

From the moment the doors opened, the unique energy of the festival was impossible to miss. Throughout the day, our stand welcomed a steady stream of visitors, including HR managers, Learning & Development professionals, business leaders, and individuals looking to invest in their own or their colleagues' professional development. It was especially delightful to see that people were already familiar with Berlitz (we even met someone who knew this classic). At the same time, we had the pleasure of meeting many new contacts and starting conversations that may well become future partnerships.

Thanks to careful planning, we were also able to attend several presentations while exhibiting. Once again, Business Fest offered an incredibly diverse programme, covering topics ranging from HR, marketing, and sales to technology and innovation.
