Subsidized courses for employees in Vienna
The Vienna Employment Promotion Fund (WAFF) offers free career and further education counselling and assistance. Berlitz is a WAFF recognized educational institution.
Further education funding
The WAFF "Continuing Education Account" supports continuing education and vocational training for employees in Vienna who attend programs offered by WAFF recognized educational institutions.
Level of support:
- Employees receive 50% of the course fee, up to €200.
- Job seekers receive 50% of the course fee, up to €300.

WAFF Double "Training of Thousands"
Through the initiative "Training of Thousands", the WAFF supports the vocational training and further education of employed citizens in Vienna.
Levels of support:
- WAFF Training of Thousands - in summary: The WAFF supports you with 90% of the course and examination costs, up to a maximum of € 1.000. In case of training for the recognition of existing qualifications or the first apprenticeship, 90% of course fees and examination costs are provided, up to a maximum of € 3.000.
- WAFF Training of Thousands - Low income (less than € 1.800 net per month): The WAFF provides support with 50% of course fees and examination costs, up to a maximum of € 2.000.
- WAFF Training Of Thousands - people with completed compulsory education: The WAFF provides support with 90% of course and examination fees for the following cases: Maximum of € 1.000 for vocational education and training, maximum of € 3.000 for preparatory courses for first successful completion of extraordinary apprenticeship, maximum of € 3.000 for combination of vocational training, further education and extraordinary apprenticeship

WAFF Education Bonus (for apprenticeship graduates)
With the founding of the bonus, the WAFF wants to support young people who want to continue their training and educational development right after their successful apprenticeship. The Education Bonus can also be taken in combination with the Education Account (Bildungskonto) and the WAFF Training of Thousands Account (WeiterbildungsTausender)!
Level of support:
- Maximum funding up to € 200.

The WAFF program for labor force re-entry helps with individual advice on all matters concerning a career break or labor force re-entry. It provides financial support for planned training programs.

- Clarification in the guidance process, generally up to 100% of the course costs and up to a maximum of € 2,700.

FRECH is a special program for female labor force participants who wish to change their profession. The focus of FRECH is in the process of consulting female workers and developing realistic job prospects in collaboration. After extensive discussion, there is the possibility of financial support for education and training courses.
