As a native German speaker, I began my journey in language education while studying economics, working as a German teacher. My passion for teaching, working with people and lifelong learning led me to where I am today. As Regional Director, I help companies choose language programs that deliver measurable results and strengthen their teams' language skills.
Together with my colleagues, we create tailored solutions that truly meet the needs of both companies and individuals. I believe professionalism and positive energy go hand in hand; that’s why I place great importance on client satisfaction and a supportive work environment. This balance is what keeps us among the leading providers of language education in Slovenia.
I also believe in balance in life – sports, travel and spending time with friends help me stay motivated, creative and focused in my professional life.
Jasna Prebil Jerkovič
Assistant Director
At Berlitz Slovenia, I am Assistant to the Director and responsible for the organization and coordination of language programs for children and adults in Ljubljana.
I also passionately lead our Berlitz Summer Camps, a program that combines language learning with creative and sports activities, providing children with a relaxed and effective learning environment.
What drives me in my work is the joy of connecting with people. With experience and dedication, I strive to create a welcoming learning atmosphere. The dynamic nature of my role allows me to explore new challenges and find ways to improve every day.
In my free time, I love exploring nature. It helps me maintain inner balance and brings fresh energy for everyday challenges.
Ana Škerl
Assistant Director
As Assistant to the Director, I support individuals and companies outside the Ljubljana region. My role includes organizing and coordinating language courses, sales and managing key clients to ensure high-quality and personalized learning solutions.
I enjoy working in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities, whether in communication with clients or in collaboration with colleagues. I put great emphasis on building strong relationships with clients because I believe trust and a personal approach are key to successful cooperation.
I’m always inspired when our students enjoy their courses and make progress. That’s when I know we’re making a real difference.
I love to travel and discover new places and cultures. In my free time, you’ll often find me hiking in the hills or enjoying a good book by the sea.

Language learning has always been a part of my life, and I truly admire people who can communicate freely in a foreign language.
At our Maribor Language Center, I focus on finding the right teacher and schedule for each student, ensuring their learning journey matches their goals.
I believe a language course is more than just gaining knowledge. It’s often about meaningful conversations and connecting people. When we achieve that, I know I’ve done my job well.

Originally from the UK, I’ve been living in Slovenia for over 20 years. During this time, I’ve worked with Berlitz in Slovenia and across Europe, teaching languages, training teachers and supporting our language education programs.
As District Manager of Instruction, I train and support teachers to become the best Berlitz instructors they can be. I focus on maintaining high-quality teaching standards and ensuring both our teachers and students grow together.
Seeing the growth and progress of our students as their language skills develop inspires me in my work.
In my free time, I enjoy football, snowboarding, mountain biking and countryside walks with my dog.

As the first point of contact, I ensure a pleasant and professional experience for everyone visiting our Language Centers.
I’m known for my strong communication skills, adaptability and genuine care for the people who come to us.
My goal is to make every visitor feel welcome and create a positive atmosphere. I believe this personal connection plays a key role in the overall learning experience.
I like to relax in the outdoors, enjoy dancing, and love expressing my creativity in various ways.

My colleagues and I work in sync and always keep the needs of our clients in mind.

What our learners say
I enrolled in a Russian course at Berlitz. It's my first experience with the Berlitz method and I'm really impressed because the learning is based on a conversation with a native-fluent speaker, from the first lesson you listen and speak only Russian. You learn the language naturally, just like we learned our mother tongue as children. The teacher uses a lot of fun tools, from picture books to didactic games. No grammar and no long lectures. I then reinforce the material at home with the help of a Berlitz textbook. It really works. I have been speaking the target language since the very first class.
