Our Berlitz language camp in Berlin Wuhlheide
Fill a week of your vacation with action and fun without having to travel far or stay away from home: The "FEZ" leisure and recreation center in Berlin’s Wuhlheide park is the perfect setting for our exciting day camp. Come and enjoy ball games, creative workshops, field trips and special attractions, all while speaking a foreign language.
Learning at Berlin Wuhlheide language camp
Students at our day camps learn English in a relaxed way so they hardly feel they’re doing it at all. After having breakfast at home, the participants come to the day camp to practice English all day long. But it’s nothing like school. That’s because English is the only language spoken at Berlin Wuhlheide language camp.
This lets us combine language learning with fun and means the children get to experience a fantastic vacation week filled with wonderful activities while speaking English all day long. And as a result, they learn the language as if by magic.
But don’t worry – our team members all speak clearly, and our camp director also speaks German in case there’s a safety briefing or an emergency.
We offer the following activities at Berlin Wuhlheide language camp
Ball and team games: There are playgrounds and sports pitches for the children to enjoy throughout the site. Participants can play sports like streetball, soccer and volleyball and try out the latest new sports, too. The camp leaders provide a wealth of ideas for games.
- Creative activities: Our team members are multi-talented and enjoy a number of different hobbies, allowing us to offer a range of creative activities that let kids and teens discover their inner artists.
- The FEZ events and activities: The center itself also offers a host of permanent activities and events. There’s an interesting program of shows for kids at the cinema and the theater, a changing range of interactive exhibitions to spark their imaginations and stimulate their brains, and the "Orbitall" space center where everything revolves around space travel.
- ● Swimming: Fun in the water’s guaranteed thanks to the water toys in the small indoor pool. More experienced swimmers can enjoy themselves in the large indoor pool that also features a high diving board. The bathing lake is a great place for a refreshing dip in summer.

Equipment and accommodation at Berlin Wuhlheide language camp
The camp takes place at the FEZ, one of the most exciting places to play, learn and experience new things in the whole of Berlin. It’s adventure, fun and education rolled into one!
This huge complex with indoor and outdoor facilities that sits right in the middle of a forested nature park features countless places to play and a gigantic range of events and activities that revolve around sports, leisure and design. That means there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone at our language camp in Berlin Wuhlheide!
The FEZ offers a wide range of entertainments for all weathers and seasons. On sunny days, for example, the kids can enjoy the sports pitches and the playgrounds with their fantastic equipment and climbing frames. Large green spaces and a landscaped bathing lake provide opportunities to relax and blow off steam. When it’s rainy outside, we have an indoor playground, two indoor pools, an indoor climbing hall and a large gymnasium at our disposal.
Surroundings
The FEZ is located in the Wuhlheide public park that’s also home to a forest ropes course and the Brandenburg Model Park. The FEZ’s huge site is almost too big to walk around. That’s why traveling on the center’s very own park railway is the best way to explore it all.
Why not head to the bathing lake to borrow a boat or a pedal car before voyaging to the Villa Villekulla to feel like Pippi Longstocking and finishing off by visiting the Eco Island?
Or perhaps you’d prefer a trip to one of the many playgrounds with their large climbing frames? There’s also plenty of play equipment you can borrow, a half-pipe and a whole range of other sports facilities to discover.

Additional information
Our team at the language camp in Berlin Wuhlheide consists of qualified leaders who have a native level of English. They organize and supervise the program of afternoon activities and always take the kids’ wishes into account. In accordance with our Berlitz concept of "learning by speaking", all camp counselors and kids will speak in the foreign language, all day long. Our mission: to make learning languages fun and enjoyable for kids.
Even at our day camps, we make sure our participants get the food they need. We provide various snacks and drinks for kids throughout the day. Breakfast and dinner are not provided at our day camp. Please let us know before booking if we need to be aware of any allergies, intolerances, or dietary issues. Kids should also bring their own refillable water bottle.
Children should be brought to the FEZ by bus, train or car by their parents at the time mentioned in the travel information every day and picked up again at 5:00 p.m. (sent to all participants before camp starts).
