English camp in a beautiful resort

The Saale-Unstrut valley around the town of Naumburg is known as an area with many castles and vineyards. A number of houses and buildings from the time of the knights in the tranquil medium-sized town are reminiscent of historical times. And even today, Naumburg still stands for adventures of a special kind. Because here, in the south of Saxony-Anhalt, the Berlitz holiday camp Naumburg is located.

Full immersion in adventures and English

In the diversely designed language lessons, we only speak English. This is how we ensure that the kids make rapid progress. Our language camp offers of course many games and sports activities in the afternoon. The same applies here: In English, please! So that’s how learning is fun and successful.

In Naumburg, children and young people can experience first-hand that language learning can be really entertaining. This applies both to the lively lessons in the morning and the numerous leisure activities in the afternoon. After just a short time, conversation in English comes naturally.

  • Modern lessons in the mornings (4x45 minutes/5 days per week)
  • Small groups ensure a high proportion of speaking and a maximum of learning success

On the first day, the kids will be divided into small groups according to their age and language knowledge. Thereby, kids get the best possible conditions for learning.

History and culture meets fun and sports

Naumburg at Saale is world-famous for the cathedral St. Peter and Paul. It’s one of the most important cultural heritages. And what else? The town is rich in history and culture, dating back to the Middle Ages. In addition, you will find action, games, and sports at many places. In short: There is something for every child here – no matter whether explorer, sports fan, or nature lover!

These are the activities in the holiday camp Naumburg:

In our language camp, we have a varied program every day. Kids with enthusiasm for sport can let off steam at activities such as table tennis, ball sports, and team games. As an alternative, we go on a nature exploring tour together. And excursions in the surroundings are also always part of the program.

Special highlight is a day with an exciting guide in the cathedral, where the kids can discover the secrets and stories of the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site on their own. After a thrilling walkaround, we go on to a relaxing city stroll. The children can reflect on their impressions, stroll through the charming streets, discover little souvenirs and, of course, make new friends.

For those who love it sporty, funny and wet: A visit to the local swimming pool must not be missing. Here, the children can swim, splash around and race down the water slides to their heart’s content. The perfect program for an unforgettable day in great company!

Important: The offered activities are designed by the team depending on the weather, preferences of the group and possibility – therefore the program may vary.

Additional information

At our holiday camp, the focus is on your kids. Our qualified counselors are there for the kids and teens all day long – from the morning lessons to the varied leisure program in the afternoons and evenings.

In accordance with the Berlitz method of "learning by speaking", our focus is on speaking the foreign language all day long. But don’t worry: at each of our camps, a German-speaking camp director is always on-hand for the kids and available by phone for all parents.

All the fun and action at our Berlitz language camp also includes good food. The first day starts with dinner. On all other camp days, kids can look forward to three meals – all prepared for us by our accommodation provider in Norderney. For lunch, kids either get to pick their own food from a buffet, a hot lunch, or a packed lunch to go.

We’ll try our hardest to cater to kids with allergies, intolerances, or special diets. If applicable, please contact us before booking.

Arrival day overview: We’ll be welcoming all parents and kids on the first day of camp. The exact time for arrival can be found in the travel information sent to all participants before the camp starts. The meet-and-greet allows our Berlitz team and the participants to get to know one another. Parents can ask the team any questions they may have. In our welcome package, kids and teens will receive a practical gym bag, lunch box, and notebook. After a short placement, the camp really gets going.

Departure information: After a joint farewell for both counselors and participants, parents will be able to pick up their kids. Parents can find the exact pick-up time in the travel documents sent out before camp starts. Please arrive on time, as our counselors will also be leaving that day. The certificate of participation and Camp Magazine & Co. will be sent to the kids afterwards.

Then take a look at our kids camp FAQ page where we have gathered further information.

We will also send you further details regarding the pack list, arrival and departure etc. by e-mail after your booking.
