Social Education Worker for sponsored Business Language Courses

On a freelance basis


Your responsibilities:

For the duration of the course, you will act as a person of trust for the course participants, and play a troubleshooting role at the interface between the language and professional qualification process as well as providing support for the participants. The support you give may be defined in terms of individual cases and on a project basis as casework, crisis intervention, and – if required – the organization of training initiatives conducive to developing the social and communicative competences of course participants.

Your Profile:

  • Technical College or University qualification in Social Education or Social Work (Masters, Bachelors degree as minimum); a course of study in Education Science with specialization or supplementary subject of Social Education or Youth Welfare, or evidence of at least one year’s professional experience during the last five years with this client group; other tertiary level qualifications in pedagogy, or government certified educator with an additional relevant supplementary qualification and evidence of at least three years professional experience with this client group during the last five years; other Technical College or University qualifications, providing a supplementary qualification in counseling and at least five years professional experience with this client group is available.
  • Experience with the implementation and documentation of BAMF projects is advantageous.
